Description

Overview:
The Software Product Marketing Manager will design and create campaigns and content for NPI (New product introduction) and sustaining marketing in support of key financial and positioning targets and objectives.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop a deep understanding of VOC and end user/decision maker personas
  • Build 3 year global strategic plan including a solutions road map, financial plan and 1 year operating plan
  • Contribute and document software marketing strategy and tactics based on key objectives of BU's, Regional Marketing, Vertical Marketing, Channels, and Sales.
  • Contribute to global product marketing content and campaign architectures.
  • Execute creative development. Document and communicate product positioning and messaging.
  • Lead global NPI and Sustaining Marketing program elements for software across Auto-ID Tracking and Services
  • Own 100% of software pages on website, partner portals, and the Source
  • Drive the AR, PR, Social, Corp Comms programs for software.
  • Ensure we deliver on strategy and messaging for products at key events.
  • Monitor and respond to competitive activities.
  • Financial acumen: understanding details of product business case, and performance metrics.
  • Ensuring ROI from marketing programs.
  • Identify and monitor global software market trends both internally and externally
  • Identify key leading and lagging indicators of success, reporting on them monthly

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years relevant work experience in software marketing
  • Marketing program development
  • Strategic thinking and strategy development
  • Develop and track to budget forecasts and actuals for program spending
  • Manage invoice submissions and payment tracking for relevant program spending
  • Proven track record of working with and managing agency relationships
  • Exceptional influencing skills
