I have recently been engaged as the sole recruitment partner for a new digital advertising player that has been disrupting the industry since its launch. Through much hard work and dedication they have built the company up to a place where they now require a senior hire to help drive the organisation forwards and accelerate their growth.

The Strategic Director is a senior, general management position where you will have to play a variety of roles. The remit will encompass the day to day running of the business, in addition to owning the strategic plan for the medium to long term. Excellent project management experience is a must, as is being able to deal with tricky stakeholder management situations and sensitive information.

Strategic responsibilities will include;
*Owning the strategic planning process - defining scope, goals and deliverables in collaboration with other senior management
*Agreeing the project plan and all milestones
*Demonstrating thought leadership across all working groups and working with the thought team leaders to ensure all groups stay on track during the project

Day to day responsibilities will include;
*Ownership of the sales and campaign workflow, including the role of technical platforms (SSP, DSP, DMP)
*Overall ownership of the campaign process, including responsibility for set up, delivery, analysis and post campaign reporting
*Client and agency liaison and relationship management
*Liaising with technical and sales leads to ensure effective delivery
*Working closely with the Sales Director to respond to client briefs, carry out meetings and close deals

Additionally, experience with investment and financial planning is important, as is experience managing the implementation of complex operational processes. The candidate will also be required to be adaptable and versatile, able to continually respond to shifting priorities

Key skills;
*Advertising/media experience, particularly within a programmatic environment
*Project management experience with track record of delivering large complex projects with multiple stakeholders
*Experience managing fast paced organisation change, ideally within a start-up or business transformation environment
*Experience taking new products or service from development to delivery
*Excellent problem solving skills
*Excellent communication and people management skills
*Experience with setting budgets, financial planning and financial modelling
*Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
