Description

Unique opportunity to join a heavily expanding Social Marketing agency based in South London. This organisation works with exceptional clients delivering creative and socially-focused campaigns. Their work covers education strategy, digital & film content, direct marketing, brand awareness, partnership marketing and corporate social responsibility.

The Role:

Reporting directly into the Head of Marketing and Sales this role plays a crucial part in delivering the marketing and business development plans.
Support the identification and delivery of new business activity, including lead generation, proposals and tenders

New Business

  • Identify appropriate new business leads
  • Conduct desk research on prospective clients and prepare briefings
  • Draft messaging and copy for new business emails
  • Manage database of all new business contacts
  • Prepare credentials decks for new business meetings
  • Support on the creation of proposals, tenders, and pitch documents
  • Assist in contacting new business leads

Marketing

  • Advertising - Assist in managing print and digital advertising campaign, including liaison with publications and support with planning process
  • PR - Identify opportunities, assist in content creation and drafting of press releases, manage journalist contact data
  • Social media - Work with wider team on corporate social media activity including planning & writing content, and managing channels
  • Digital - Assist in company website content management
  • Events - Assist in event planning & organisation, including guest list management, communications, venue liaison, and logistics
  • Direct Mail - Support on the creation and send of Direct Mail email campaigns

Who we are looking for:

  • Experience in marketing and new business disciplines gained in client or agency environment, the role will require exposure to KPI's and a target focus.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong research skills
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills, good presentation skills and confidence in dealing with many different stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, with demonstrable project management capability and experience
  • Computer literate including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Confident with database use and data management
