Interim Contract and Commissioning Manager - 3 Months - Start ASAPMy client, a CCG located in London, are looking for a Contracts Manager for a initial 3 months assignment with the potential to extend.
Role: Interim Contract Manager
Location: London
Rate: Band 7
The day to day duties of the Contracts and Commissioning Manager will be:
* Work with host commissioning lead to ensure that the Trust's interests are preserved in contract negotiations.
* Work closely with key CCGs and their representatives, other Commissioners and the Contracts Team.
* Take minute counting accurately and to arrange meetings
* Ensure the Trust is fairly rewarded from each commissioner for the activity it is required to perform.
Requirements of the Contracts Manager:
* Contracts management experience at an CCG is essential
* Experience in writing a service spec.
* Extensive knowledge of community contracts, in particular out of hours
* Persuasive nature
* Knowledge of Excel and in particular the use of pivot tables
* Excellent writing skills
