Job Scope Summary
The Project manager is accountable for managing comprehensive and complex IT work streams in regional and global logistics projects from inception to delivery including planning, design. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.
The project manager is also acting as account manager and accompanies the IT solution after successful implementation as consultant and communication partner for operations, business account managers and the customer for IT related topics.
Requirements
must have RedPrairie Dispatcher knowledge/experience
Ba chelor or Master Degree in related area or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Minimum of 7-8 years experience in implementation of IT projects preferably in the logistics business with a focus on Warehouse Management Systems.
Familiar with solution design and implementation of customized Warehouse Management Systems and associated areas.
Certification in project management.
Proficient in project management methodologies with a focus on developing solution driven strategy plans to achieve goals, implementing business requirements analysis and testing processes, and identifying timeline constraints, and risks.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Customer oriented with strong interpersonal skills including diplomacy and patience.
Strong communicator with ability to communicate and interact effectively with people from multi-functional and multi-cultural backgrounds.
Strong team player
Able to work under pressure and strict timelines
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external business partners.
Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to persuade, influence, negotiate, and make formal presentations in meetings and training environments.
Willingness for regional and global travel.
