Position: Senior Platform Engineer _(Data Center Storage/Server/Virtualization)
Duration: 3-6 months (extendable)
Location: Hilversum, Netherlands
Job Description:
Server/Virtualization:
Proven experience in design and implementation of server and virtualization strategies including automation and orchestration/workflow technologies to enable end to end provisioning across platforms
Strong server hardware platform experience and configuration, including but not limited to HP DL/BL and Cisco UCS platforms.
6+ years progressively increasing responsibility in data center and infrastructure engineering or virtualization technologies
Data Center Storage:
High level of experience with engineering and administering large enterprise scale SAN/NAS storage arrays and SAN fabric
Senior level experience in EMC and HP 3PAR storage environments, including management tools used in Array and SAN fabric management.
Experience with NetApp storage systems and/or EMC Avamar/DataDomain backup solutions is a plus.
Advanced storage expertise including zoning, LUN sizing, Storage Pools, RAID implementations, volume configuration and allocation activities, virtualization, thin provisioning and replication and cloning strategies
Expert level troubleshooting and resolution of SAN/NAS storage system and SAN fabric performance issues.
