NHS Contracts Manager - Continuing HealthcareI am collaborating with a renowned & reputable NHS CCG who are looking for an interim Contracts Manager to performance manage their Continuing Healthcare Contracts.
The role will be for an initial 6 months paying between £320-£380 per day depending on experience.
The post holder will be responsible for managing the relationship with the CSU & Providers in order to reach agreed contractual terms.
Reporting into the Chief Nurse, the Contracts Manager will be responsible for:
- Performance management of CHC Contracts & relationships with stakeholders
- Issuing contract notifications
- Manage recovery plans
- Identifying issues with performance & addressing with the CSU
- Leading on internal & external meetings
- Ensuring contract provisions are being adhered to & resolving if not
- Negotiate new terms where needed
- Resolve any retrospective contractual issues & manage current problems
- Ensure relationships are continued but hold the CSU to account when needed
- Analyse reports on activity & present findings to internal board & external stakeholders
The requirements for the Contracts Manager are:
- NHS Contracts experience is essential
- In depth knowledge of NHS Standard Contract
- CHC experience is desirable
- Experience of managing various projects at any one time
- Report writing experience is essential
- Proven experience of dealing with difficult contract situations & resolving in an amicable manner
- Ability to communicate at board level
- Background in performance managing contracts & ability to demonstrate the ability to resolve issues
