Contracts Community Manager - 3 months

The Contracts Community Manager will be expected to support the team already in place & maintain the relationships with the main provider & is required to have a strong background within NHS Contracting & Commissioning.

As the Community Contracts Manager, your primary duties & responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting on management of the full Community contracts portfolio
  • Managing multiple contracts at a time
  • Hold the Provider to account for any discrepancies with pricing but also work collaboratively with them in order to achieve desired goals
  • Maintain existing relationships with the providers & internal board
  • Ensure robust contract function is in place & being adhered to
  • Make sure all paperwork is logged & admin levels are to a high standard


As the Community Manager, you will be required to have the below skills:
  • Community contract experience at Band 8a or equivalent level
  • In depth knowledge of NHS Standard Contract
  • Persuasive nature but also ability to see both sides of an argument
  • Budget management experience
  • Experience of analysing provider reports & reporting to board
  • High level communication skills
  • Excellent project/programme management skills
  • Excellent writing skills


Due to the nature of this role it is essential that candidates have prior experience of community contract management.
