Finance Analyst - Contract (5 Months) - Rate: Negotiable - KentA Global Pharmaceutical company based in Kent are looking to hire a Financial Analyst to work in their finance team on a 5 month contract.
To support the finance team you will be responsible to resolve the DS CoE (Decision support - Centre of Excellence) supported markets Cost of sales queries.
The role initially will be focused on Europe but will extend in scope to new markets that come under the scope of DS CoE support.
The Finance Analyst is responsible for, but not not limited to:
- Investigate into Cost Sales queries for as singed markets
- Act as first point of contact for Cost Sales Support Analyst
- Support Cost of Sales Team Lead for the stabilization of Cost of Sales Landscape.
- Support the plan, budget and forecasting modelling
- Financial Reporting analytics
- Presentation development and preparation
- Data validation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, with finance/accounting or related experience
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and time management skills
- Good understanding of finance IT system architecture may be required.
- Management Reporting and Analysis process experience preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Office capabilities, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Competency with spreadsheets & financial modelling (comfort with data manipulation and financial systems)
- Ability to identify business issues/opportunities and to frame business questions
- Knowledge of various financial systems and financial reporting aspects is preferred
- Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
