Description

Job Summary:
  • The Sales and Pricing Analyst I will obtain and negotiate pricing for electric and/or natural gas supply for customers and provide general support to assist in the sales process and business operations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Initiate and coordinate pricing requests from various energy suppliers
  • Review and input data from clients' invoices, contracts and utility billing systems into specific Excel spreadsheets or other systems as deemed necessary to create enterprise and client specific reports
  • Compile market and utility energy pricing information into a suitable format for distribution to clients and review with sales personnel
  • Coordinate execution of energy contracts between clients, sales personnel and suppliers
  • Assist and/or act as lead on special projects as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

SKILLS:

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Knowledge of energy markets required
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office especially Excel and to include Internet Explorer, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to function in a team environment and maintain rapport with co-workers, clients and suppliers
  • Ability to work independently, adhere to deadlines and demonstrate initiative.
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Flexibility on the job and ability to work under multiple, daily deadlines
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of all information at all times

Education/Experience:
  • Preferred - Four years of college education with degree (or equivalent work experience).
  • Preferred - Three years previous experience with energy pricing or deal structuring.
  • Preferred - experience in sales and/or marketing support
