Description
Our client in the Fort Washington area is looking for a Project Coordinator with a focus on Data Center and Infrastructure projects for a 2+ month contract. This will be filling in for an employee on leave.
The Project Coordinatoris responsible for multiple critical facilities implementation Projects with a focus on Data Center/Infrastructure Projects. The Project Coordinator will work closely with client stakeholders, end users, vendors, contractors and internal teams of Developers and Integrators to implement successful projects.
Candidate must be able to manage and take ownership of multiple projects and should enjoy working on varied tasks independently or as part of a team. Project-based workload requires flexibility and commitment to accommodating shifting prioritizations and deadlines.
Required Skills:
- 2+ years Project Coordinator experience with a focus on Data Centers/Infrastructure/Disaster Recovery type projects
- Experience with one or more of the following: IT infrastructure, Data Center Operations, Data Center Monitoring Systems, Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCiM), BMS/BAS Control Systems.
- Experience with, or understanding of, IT networking projects preferred.
- Experience managing small to medium complex projects, creating project plans, leading meetings and presenting to Management.
- Demonstrated skills in task prioritization, and scheduling
- Proven track record of achieving objectives on schedule and within budget.
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, networking Microsoft applications, ie, Project and Outlook/Exchange, PowerPoint)
