COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER - INTERNAL COMMS - PHARMACEUTICAL

An opportunity has arisen for a Communications Manager to work on a part time (2-3 days a week) contract for a Pharmaceutical company based in Surrey.

Purpose of the position

To deliver proficient and effective management and support of communication activities to ensure that stakeholders, programme members and employees are informed of a new major Programme and changes that it brings. This position will play a key role, working globally and connecting with leaders and staff across all businesses.

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
Communications experience, ideally in an "in-house" leadership role within a complex environment (number and variety of stakeholders)
Covering areas such as communications strategy and planning, newsletters, webcasts and executive messages
The ability to take knowledge and transform it into exciting and useful messages, and disseminate it to the right audiences through the best distribution channels.
Highly collaborative style; experience developing and implementing communications strategies
Excellent writing/editing and verbal English communication skills
A strong track record as an implementer who thrives on managing a variety of key initiatives concurrently
Relationship builder with the flexibility and finesse to "manage by influence"
Sincere commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups
Self-starter, able to work independently, and entrepreneurial; enjoys creating and implementing new initiatives
