Microsoft Lync, Unified Communications & Skype for Business Consultant
My client requires an experienced Microsoft Lync Consultant who holds experience in deploying Skype for Business.
Responsibilities
- Architectural scoping of Skype for Business on-premises, hybrid and cloud based UC solutions.
- Deployment and configuration of customer Skype for Business environments.
- Customer documentation including design and architectural documentation, test plans, migration plans, build guides and operational support handover manuals.
- Advice and guidance on Skype for Business user experience and rollout strategies.
Experience Required
- Microsoft Lync Server 2013 and 2013
- Strong understanding of networking and VoIP protocols
- Experience designing high performance Microsoft Lync voice and video conferencing environments and experience designing and deploying hybrid environments with Office 365
- Skype for Business Enterprise Voice routing design and configuration and experience troubleshooting Skype for Business mobility on iOS, Android and Windows Phone
- Sonus and Audiocodes SBC/gateway design, deployment approach in a Microsoft UC environment
- Thorough experience with supporting Microsoft products
- Capacity planning for voice interoperability with legacy PBXs and the PSTN (SIP and ISDN)
- Understanding of client and server virtualisation technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix)
- Hardware load balancer and reverse proxy (KEMP, F5, Citrix NetScaler) deployment and configuration
