Senior Project Manager - Financial Services

Summary:

This is one year contract opportunity in Dunwoody for an individual who will manage large-scale projects as the Sr. Project Manager. A leader in the payments industry, our client provides end-to-end payment processing solutions and services to more than one million merchants around the world.

Responsibilities:

Authoring and managing the project plan inclusive of clarifying business benefit, s takeholder engagement, scoping and estimating, project resource coordination, budget management, driving cross-functional team deliverables and schedules, hitting target milestones, managing assigned projects according to plan, risk and issue management; and collaborating closely with stakeholders during the complete project life cycle.

Qualifications:

  • A dynamic, results-oriented, detail-driven project/program manager with 5-8 years of project management experience
  • Expertise in developing detailed plans for complex projects involving challenging requirements, limited resources, and fixed deadlines.
  • Expertise in developing financial/work estimates and of budget tracking.
  • A proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with software project and project management concepts, practices and procedures including familiarity with project management software such as Microsoft Project.
  • Demonstrated skills in requirements gathering, resource organization, project/task prioritization and schedule development.
  • Demonstrated ability to make project assessments, and to intervene as required to get projects on track.
  • Expertise in both written and interpersonal communication, in relationship building, and in collaboration in a cross-functional team comprised of diverse personalities, skill sets, and levels of experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills, focus, and attention to detail.
  • Ability (and preference!) to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, hectic, and energetic environment.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
