Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - Nuclear - Yorkshire.A long term contract opportunity has arisen with a client in Yorkshire who manufacture Nuclear mechanical equipment for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer.
The company:
A well established local firm who are experiencing continuous growth and are building an excellent reputation in the Nuclear industry.
The role:
To oversea the design of Nuclear mechanical equipment for various projects. This will involve understanding the design governance, writing technical documentation and safety case as well as hand calcs and FEA. There will also be client visits and interaction.
The candidate:
Will be well versed in the technical side of Nuclear design and able put together engineering documentation.
Be conversant with design calculations, using classic methods, MathCAD and ANSYS.
Ideally applicants will hold SC clearance but must be at least eligible.
The offer:
The contract on offer will be long term and a competitive rate. The client are flexible to allow a 40 hour week to be done in 4 working days and are situated in a comfortable modern office next to their manufacturing facility.
