Description

Our international IT client requires a GRAPHIC DESIGNER to join them on a contract basis in Valencia, Spain. This is an English speaking position and will suit someone with a creative outlook and a proven background in graphic design and photo editing. This is an initial 3 month contract but can renew for a longer duration.

Graphic Design requirements:
  • Meeting clients or account managers to discuss the business objectives and requirements of the job
  • Interpreting the client's business needs and developing a concept to suit their purpose
  • Developing graphics and layouts for product illustrations, logos, and websites
  • Estimating the time required to complete the work
  • Presenting finalized ideas and concepts to clients or account managers
  • Working on layouts and art-working pages ready for print
  • Determining size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and font style and size
  • Keeping abreast of emerging technologies in new media
  • Provide administrative assistance for in-house and external training, including drafting reports and email correspondence addressed to a diverse group of recipients
  • Provide logistical assistance for courses held at various locations by coordinating with trainees, trainers and other units, as required;
  • Maintain accurate data/records of training courses and participants
  • Assist in the preparation of reports on training statistics and other relevant information;
  • Perform other duties as required
Qualifications:
  • Proficient IT skills, especially with design and photo-editing software
  • Exceptional creativity and innovation
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Previous experience in graphic designing
  • Previous experience in the administrative field
  • Good communications skills, and excellent command of the English language (both oral and written);
  • Ability to learn new tools quickly whenever required
  • Ability to undertake research, gather information and provide technical advice on possible solutions
  • Experience producing and/or editing formal correspondence, memoranda, and reports
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, and perform duties under pressure in a timely manner
  • Possess a general understanding of the functions and organization of the work unit
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment
