Senior Regulatory Affairs Officer - Up to £40,000 basic - Midlands UK

Up to £40,000 per annum plus benefits Pension Healthcare Private Medical Life Insurance

My client are a UK based global organisation looking for a SRO to join their progressive company who specialise in early stage and niche drug development services. You will be joining an experienced team in a growing company who are willing to train and develop their staff and the individual in this position. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for the next step in their career in regulatory and looking to broaden their experience in clinical regulatory work. Previous experience in UK and Ireland or EU regulatory CTA experience is essential and ethics committee submission knowledge is desirable. It is also a great opportunity to gain or develop experience with the MHRA as you will be the main regulatory point of contact.
Key Skills/Requirements
  • B.Sc degree or the equivalent (desirable) in a scientific discipline
  • 3-4 years' regulatory affairs experience (pre or post approval)
  • Regulatory experience in the preparation and submission of CTAs and Ethics submissions (UK, Ireland, EU)
  • Very strong organization and planning to handle potentially conflicting multiple portfolio projects.
  • Excellent verbal and writing communication skills to collaborate with and discuss technical information and regulatory requirements with project teams and governmental agencies.
  • Ability to work effectively within designated project review periods.


The successful candidate would ideally have previous regulatory experience and experience of putting together ethics and CTA submissions. This company would also consider candidates with post approval experience who may be looking to get into clinical regulatory. You will need to be based in their office in the Midlands and have the ability to pick new tasks up quickly.
