Six Month Contract/Immediate Start/Manchester/£30 - £35 per hour
I am currently recruiting a mechanical design engineer for a 6 month contract in Bolton. This is a key client of GCS looking to expand their design department resource.
This is a senior design engineer role you will be designing enclosures from concept for the defence industry. You will need to be capable of full life cycle design and experience of full turnkey projects is preferred.
Description
- This is a chance to join a dynamic and evolving team working with one of the countries leading wireless technology companies.
- The role will support the Design team using computer-aided design (CAD) systems to prepare drawings and blueprints for an initial 6 month contract though there is a high likelihood that this will be extended.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of Solidworks CAD system
- Demonstrable Electrical Engineering knowledge
- Mechanical background
Commercial Solidworks experience is essential.
The hourly rate for this role is £35 per hour and interviews will be held over the next two weeks.
