We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer experienced in NX CAD 8.0 or higher
Start: ASAP - latest September 1st, 2015

Introduction:
A new flatbed printer will be designed. Currently a team of 5 mechanical engineers has started the mechanical design for the first prototype. After this feasibility step, engineering will start to prepare 3D and 2D for start production. Because of high accuracy requirements understanding designing according design principles is very important. This project is also carrier for the NX CAD pilot. The engineers need daily assistance in learning working and designing with NX CAD.
We are looking for an experienced NX CAD Mechanical Engineer who has experience in working in concept and engineering phases with a team of engineers. Experience in designing in large assemblies is very important. Most of the parts are designed in sheet metal. Sheet metal experience is therefore essential.
Position's main tasks:
- Supporting the lead engineer in developing the covering of the flatbed printer in time.
Deliverables:
- 3D and 2D documentation of engine covering to start production. The lead engineer will be responsible for the design concept.
- Creating engineering documentation for covering to describe 1) design requirements, 2) engineering choices and 3) design verification results.
- Assistance and guidance of engineers in working in a new CAD system, NX CAD 8.0, be a key user
