Description
Harvey Nash's Edinburgh based client public sector client is currently recruiting for a number of Content Designers to join their team on an initial 6 month contract, with a high possibility of extension. The role will involve supporting the continuous improvement of web content for the organisation.
You will be:
* Creating easy to read and user friendly content
* Involved in the maintenance and improvement of content, using tools such as web analytics
* Assisting in the improvement of content flows
* Responsible for making sure the content is fact checked
Essential skills:
* Excellent communication, skills both oral and written
* Experience of working with complex websites, ideally using CMS
* Experience of using web metrics and user feedback to enhance user experience and performance
* Experience in using metadata when creating and designing content
In addition the above skills, it would be highly advantageous if you have experience using content sourcing techniques and working within an Agile environment. In order to be considered for the role you must have a valid Basic Disclosure Scotland, or be willing to apply for one.
