Contact Centre or Data Centre, Trainer, Training Consultant, Learning and Development - Derby - 6 Month Contract

PTS' client, a leading EMEA Service provider are seeking an Experienced Training Consultant, who will work with the existing Training Team to design, develop and deliver training interventions which enable role competence, adherence to process and developmental growth of colleagues. The role will include carrying out a full training needs analysis, design, delivery and evaluation. Developing training solutions to meet the business needs

Responsibilities

  • Work with assigned business stakeholders to asses current state of Training function and make recommendations for to be' process
  • Through the TNA, assess the training needs, identify appropriate solutions to meet these needs and build in ROI measurement to ensure effective evaluation.
  • Initiate and develop new training interventions, in support of change and business development, that enhance capability.
  • Design and development of high quality, blended learning solutions that meet with needs of the business, ensuring that specified learning objectives are met using a selection of learning media.
  • Successful delivery of training courses through a framework of instruction, training and facilitation to achieve the overall learning objectives
  • Ensure that return on investment metrics feature as part of the design to undertake full, robust evaluation post-implementation.
  • Facilitate training and development interventions that meet quality standards including 'train the trainer'.
  • Coach and support others, in assigned business areas and peers in business training, to maximise potential and high performance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders in assigned business area.
  • Maintain a thorough and up to date knowledge of assigned business area (objectives and issues) and proactively make recommendations in respect of new training interventions and approaches.
  • Work effectively with trainers to ensure a smooth transition from design to delivery and that training is fit for purpose and ensure the successful handover of new training events to 'business as usual'.

Profile

Candidates must be/have

  • CIPD qualification or equivalent eg Certificate in Training Practice.
  • Evidence of the full training life cycle, Training Needs Analysis, Design, Delivery and Evaluation
  • Thorough understanding of the training cycle including training needs analysis and design.
  • Evidence of identifying and driving Continuous Improvement in an Operational environment
  • A clear and concise communicator.
  • A high level of drive and commitment.
  • Good analytical and conceptual thinking and ability to deal with complexity.
  • Excellent facilitation skills.
  • Experience of working with external suppliers.
  • The ability to influence colleagues cross functionally with no reporting line.
  • Demonstrates high personal credibility and behaves as a role model
