Solution & Technical Architect.My client, a leading financial services company, urgently require a Solution & Technical Architect to join their team on a contract role.
Working within a dynamic IT department, the role is responsible for the design of infrastructure solutions, IT services and cost estimates on Bank technology projects in line with IT Strategy & Architecture principles, directives and blueprints.
The main responsibilities of the role will include, to lead infrastructure design & take on complex ideas, objectives or problems and & work them through to simple solutions based on agreed principles and patterns. To provide accurate estimates to Infrastructure Delivery Leads for inclusion in end to end project costs and business cases & act as a technical escalation point.
The candidate must have strong knowledge of Mainframe environments, experience in Middleware & Integration ideally in IBM MQ, WebSphere & Connect Direct, strong Financial Services experience & strong communication & stakeholder management skills.
The role is based in Manchester, offering a daily rate of between £500-£550 on a 6 Month term.
