Description
Solution Architect - Manchester - 12months Fixed TermA key client of mine is looking to take on a Solution Architect for a 12 month fixed term contract. They require the Architect to ensure efficient and effective design/specification, development, maintenance and support the IT systems, both corporate and also departmental to ensure best use of the organisations investment in the IT department.
Main duties involve:
*Take responsibility of organising own work according to specified priorities
*Analyse business problems and assess cost effective and technical viability for a range of potential solutions.
*Assist the business in drawing up user requirements within specifications and requirements
*Design bespoke products to fit specifications of requirements
*Develop and test bespoke products to the agreed specification and deliver the required business benefits
*Lead on the inclusion of ICT within specifications of requirements and develop the infrastructure to support the organisation.
A strong background within Microsoft is essential for this role

Rate/salary: £40k
Contract length: 12 months fixed term
