Senior Electrical Design Engineer - Pharmaceutical Projects

Surrey

6m contract +

£28 - 34 per hour

I am working with a leading pharmaceutical consultancy based in the Guildford area who are on the lookout for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join them on a long-term contract basis.

They work across the pharmaceutical and life-sciences sectors, but are looking for an electrical engineer with building services based experience to join them and assist their busy electrical team.

Experience in the following areas is desired:

- Cable calculations with Amtech/Hevacomp

- Lighting design with Relux/Dialux

- Building Services

- Pharmaceutical/Life sciences projects

- HAZOP/ATEX standards

The role itself will involve:

- Preparation of electrical designs for various stages of multiple projects, including schedules, calculations, specifications and design drawings

- Contribution to the design team and input in design reports and other documentation

- Assistance with project cost planning to the procurement and estimating team

- Scheduling of design resource allocation for delivery within project scope, cost, programme and quality parameters

- Attendance of regular design progress reviews with designers and Design Manager

- Assist in coordination between disciplines

- Contribution to design reviews such as Quality, Compliance, HAZOP, Value, Risk etc.

They are looking to bring somebody on board as soon as possible, with interviews held this week for an immediate start thereafter. They are looking to pay in the region of £28-34 per hour for the right individual.
