Description

Summary:
  • Support the analytic needs of Client business units by analysing web traffic using Google Analytics to produce reports with analysis.
  • Create holistic dashboards by pulling data from different data sources and websites.
  • Collaborate with external partners such as agencies to assist with data collection and reporting.
  • Gather core insights from the data to suggest fundamental improvements to the site experience and optimization of campaigns (including PPC, SEO, social, email, banners, print, etc.)
  • Work with website development teams to identify gaps in the data capture strategy and collaboratively implement enhancements.
  • Partner with business units and outside the company to ensure that best practices in metrics are being incorporated into the websites and reports.
  • Manage data pulls of varying size and complexity on aggressive timelines
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, accountability and deadlines, with excellent organizational, time-management, multi-tasking and project management capabilities
Typical Deliverables:
  • Monthly, bi-weekly and weekly reports using Excel, Google Analytics and Tableau for Client website and other Client public facing sites.
  • Lead development of business unit and executive level dashboards.
  • Website behavior and customer experience analysis
  • Data consolidation and validation from multiple sources.
  • Coordinating tags, tracking parameter implementations.
  • Business requirements defined from multiple sources including business units, development teams, external agencies and project managers.
  • Documentation relating to existing processes and suggestion/presentations for improving those processes.
  • Ensuring accuracy of data reporting

Education/Experience:
  • Web or Computer related four year College or University Degree
  • At least three to four years of working with standard web analysis tools: Google Analytics, Omniture, WebTrends, CoreMetrics etc.
  • Three to five years of experience using the Microsoft Office suite with expert Excel knowledge (eg complex calculations, pivot tables).
Preferred, but not required:
  • Three to five years of business analysis experience in large size companies with multiple functions/business units preferred
  • Experience with Web Content Management Systems like Adobe CQ (AEM) and WebSphere
  • SQL experience
  • SAS experience
  • Tableau experience
  • Experience with SEM (Search Engine Marketing)/PPC (Pay Per Click) and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and a minimum one year experience measuring the success of SEM/PPC and SEO campaigns/efforts.
  • Two to three years project management skills and working in a fast paced environment.
