Description

Tasks

  • Postal duties
  • Opening post
  • Scanning and allocating tasks on Altair
  • Management of the UK Pensions email inbox (responding to queries straight away if possible, or scanning and creating tasks if not)
  • Identifying same day pay critical tasks and raising them at the daily meeting
  • Telephone queries
  • Processing same day non pay critical tasks
  • Address changes
  • Bank changes
  • Acknowledge and return original certificates
  • Password resets
  • GMP tasks
  • Nomination forms
  • Retirement set-up front sheets
  • Deaths with no widows
  • Scanning of completed work and allocating to Altair
  • Update spreadsheet logs to track deaths, issues, correspondence etc

Required experience

  • Familiar with Microsoft Office and proficient in MS Word
  • Good organisational skills
  • Used to working to deadlines and prioritising work
  • Good English and letter writing skills
  • Good level of computer literacy
  • Good customer service skills

Previous experience of working in a fast-paced pension administration team would be advantageous.
