Infrastructure Manager - Liverpool - 3 Months (initially)One of the UK's leading managed service providers are looking to bring on an Infrastructure Manger to join there growing IT department. In this position you will be responsible for 7 members of staff which consist of: three Infrastructure Engineer, two 3rd Line Engineers and two 1st/2nd Line Engineers.
As the Infrastructure Manager you will also be required to take on a hands on approach to resolve any escalated IT issues, and to support your team when necessary.
Job title: Infrastructure Manager
Rate: £400 - £450per day DOE
Contract length: 3 months initially
Start date: Monday 7th September
Latest start date: Monday 21st September
Essential criteria:
*Strong hands on technical experience with all aspects of Infrastructure
*Experience working and building relationships with 3rd party clients
*Strong technical experience with the following: Virtualisation (VMware, Hyper - V, Vsphere, APP-V), Microsoft Exchange, Cisco, Citrix, ITIL
*Must have worked in a managerial role within an Infrastructure team
*Design all Infrastructure policies and procedures
*Work closely with the Head of IT, IT Director and HR
Personal qualities:
*Must have excellent communication skills and be very personable
*Must be able to build effective relationships with all aspects of the team
*Must be organised and hold good time management skills
