AdultSwim Digital is seeking a experienced video encoding engineer with strong video encoding skills and proven experience working with live digital encoding platforms. You will work with a team of talented video engineers and developers to build and maintain live encoding infrastructure for high profile and consumer facing video for AS Digital Channels. This is a senior role that requires hands-on operational management and strong peer collaboration to work on this leading edge and innovative platform that delivers all AdultSwim video content. You will collaborate with project managers, broadcast engineers, product managers, and AdultSwim business owners to build and operate a high-performance platform that is watched by AS digital consumers making it a highly visible product, requiring Real Time incident management, responses and a solid background in video encoding.
This role will also serve as a operational Support Engineer for making best-in-class technical decisions and operational recommendations. Candidates must be proficient in current and emerging video technologies, including encoding systems, codecs, ffmpeg, software defined video encoding, leading encoding vendors platforms, live video streaming, delivery protocols and Linux operating systems.
Qualifications:
Have a solid understanding of video encoding for digital distribution
BS degree or equivalent experience
