Description
A leading bank, based in Manchester are currently in need of an experienced Infrastructure Design Lead to work with Digital Solution Architects to develop and refine the overall IT Solution Architecture with particular emphasis on Infrastructure. You will provide assistance with IT Infrastructure Subject Matter Expertise to the Digital Solution Architects during the development of Solution Architecture Designs. This is a long term contract role paying a very competitive daily rate.The successful candidate will have the following:
Previous experience of working as an Infrastructure Designer ideally for Internet facing applications
Detailed understanding of three or more of the following subject matters; Mainframe Environments, UNIX Environments, Storage Environments, Network Environments, Cloud Services, Linux, Websphere and Middleware and Integration
A working knowledge of ITIL processes
A working knowledge of Project Delivery Methodology
