Description

As the Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for;
  • Management of the site Quality Improvement Programme setting the project business improvement strategy
  • Deliver an appropriate programme of support to drive strategic business and quality improvements
  • Produce timely reports clearly identifying strengths and areas requiring improvement
  • Work with stakeholders to inform improvement activity; monitoring the impact of interventions and providing appropriate support interventions where required
  • Support the implementation of new and improved processes
  • Design, develop and implement training in support the development of skills and expertise of staff and managers to meet programme requirements and improve understanding of quality monitoring processes
  • Ensure that best practice is recognised and shared to raise standards across the business
  • Responsible for the planning, execution, preparation/issuance of all QIP activities and metrics and follow-up/closure of actions.


Minimum requirement for the role:
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in quality assurance in highly regulated manufacturing environments
  • Experience of ISO9001, ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820 GMP essential
  • Experience of leading compliance culture change
  • Significant experience in manufacture of finished In-Vitro diagnostics


The Desirable candidate will have:
  • Lean/Six Sigma methodology would be desirable
  • Structured problem solving
  • Analysis and reporting including the visualisation and analysis of data
