Description
My client is a Tier 1 Investment Bank. They are currently looking for a Supplier Optimisation Performance Analyst to work in their Global Sourcing and Supplier Management area to Deliver and implement a World Class supplier Optimisation program
The role holder shall be accountable for:
- Investigating the global supply base to identify all tail suppliers, the service they provided, who used them and identifying the strategy for each supplier -
- block and transition payment process to PCard,
- block and migrate to a PSL, or
- keep and remediate with a suitably compliant contract
- Ensuring future controls are in place with the correct governance around new supplier additions and cleaning up the Legacy suppliers with no spend in the last 18 months.
- Provide support to overarching program management - there are multiple work streams that require coordination
- Provide a mechanism to track progress from an agreed baseline to a future state supply base
Experience Required:
- Advanced MS Excel and data manipulation skills
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage, prioritise and deliver multiple tasks within the same period of time, always meeting the requirements of stakeholders
- Strong stakeholder management skills (especially at an executive level)
- Highly customer focused
- Strong ability to manage multiple ad hoc and urgent requests
- Ability to translate data/reporting into actionable recommendations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, confident and articulate
- Proven experience of developing and implementing management reporting
- Excellent ability to develop clear and succinct reports and presentations drawing upon a significant amount of data and information
- Significant experience in complex quantitative analysis
