I am working with an NHS client in London who need an interim Senior Communications Manager for an initial 3 months to start ASAPRates: £300 a day
The suitable candidate must have a minimum of 10 years communications experience preferably in an NHS environment. They will be expected to provide support across the complete range of communications functions and will have expertise and experience in two or more of the following areas:
- public affairs and stakeholder management
- media management
- marketing and campaign management
- digital content management
- development and production of public-facing materials
- customer relationship management
The post holder will look to maintain and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including NHS England, Department of Health, MP offices, GP's and local commissioning groups.
Essential experience:
- Good proven written communication skills, with experience of writing for a variety of audiences, including board/executive team reports, strategies
- Proven ability to develop relationships with clients and a range of stakeholders
- Experience of managing stakeholder relations and public affairs, preferably in the NHS
