Description

Summary:
  • As an Engineer, you will lead teams and participate in the solving of complex, technical problems and maintenance of critical hydraulic valve components.
  • You will be responsible for creating new hydraulic valve designs and finding solutions to design related manufacturing issues.
  • You will execute design projects to improve manufacturability, reduce product cost, and improve product performance/reliability.
  • In this role, frequent interaction with suppliers, operations, and manufacturing engineering is required.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Complete projects on time, at cost, and meeting quality targets
  • Create new hydraulic valve designs and improve existing designs
  • Execute engineering analysis of designs
  • Validation planning and execution
  • Complete 3D modelling for designs using Creo
  • Create engineering drawings compliant with Client standards
  • Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing engineering to ensure manufacturability of designs
  • Create and maintain control documents including FMEA and DVP&R
SKILLS:

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in an accredited Engineering (Mechanical, Agricultural, Material, or Aerospace) or Materials Science curriculum
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • 2 years of Creo/Pro/E experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledgeable in the area of fluid dynamics and practical applications
  • Pro/E requirement is important as is knowledge of fluid dynamics
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with TeamCenter Engineering
  • Experience designing hydraulic or other fluid carrying components and/or systems
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes
