Description
Based in Cork, Ireland. 6 month contract. 12 month contract
- Ability to translate complex customer requirements into discrete, clear & concise inputs for execution by an engineer based remotely is essential
- Must possess sound engineering knowledge and understanding of key concepts
- Must have a basic understanding of technologies used in industry such as Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing, Computer Aided Design, Computer Aided Manufacturing etc
- Expert ability with at least one widely used CAD package such as UG NX, Pro-E, SolidWorks etc
- Proficient with MS Office applications such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and MS Project
- Basic knowledge of Computer Aided Design and its applications; knowledge of CAM packages such as NX CAM will positively impact the selection
- Basic knowledge of Coordinate Measure Machine (CMM) measurement techniques and their applications; knowledge of CMM software such as NX CMM, PCDMIS etc will positively impact the selection
- Candidate should possess strong communication and inter-personal skills.
- A good understanding of the key functions in a manufacturing plant will be an added bonus.
- At least 2 years' experience in the manufacturing domain with either Medical Devices, Aerospace or Automotive industries
- Experience in leading Product Transfers will positively impact the selection
- Must possess a graduate engineering degree in either Mechanical, Production or Manufacturing Engineering from a reputed institute
