ECPMO Project ManagerProject Manager - PMO - Regulatory Change - Change Programme - Mergers and Acquisitions - Brussels
Our client, a large global bank, are looking for an experienced project manager to join the EMEA Corporate PMO department in Brussels. The role will be supporting senior management with critical strategic programmes focused around regulatory change and also large mergers and acquisitions. This person will work closely with Senior Programme Managers and interact with senior stakeholders up to CXO level.
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide project leadership across the entire life cycle including start up, design, testing, acceptance and final closure
- Setup projects efficiently providing full work break down structure with estimation, planning and budget management sufficient to enable forecasting and delivery of the project within the timescale agreed with senior stakeholders
- Support resourcing of the project including supporting external procurement
- Document all relevant information and correspondence related to the project to an auditable standard
- Specifically clarify and manage and or escalate exceptions to ensure timely and appropriate resolution of issues and mitigation of risks
- Liaise between both technical and business groups within the company
- Ensure thorough testing on all deliverables before they are signed off
- Degree Level education required
- Project management certificate at practitioner level or equivalent
- Knowledge of Regulatory/Governance frameworks
- Experience in Financial Services
- Experienced in the following software packages: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint (high level of skill essential), Excel, Visio, Project
- Client focused
- Stakeholder engagement skills including communicating, facilitating, training and coaching
