A permanent position offering £35,000 - £45,000 (Dependent upon experience)
The client is an award winning company that has designs, manufactures and supplies products to the transport industry. Established for over 50 years with they represent a strong presences in the market. They specialise Design, Manufacture, Sales and Servicing for industrial and commercial applications. Aspiring to be at the height of innovation they have a strong reputation for providing very recognised state of the art equipment that is present in almost every country.
The Electrical Design Engineer position would best suit an individual who is keen to work within high standards of engineering and on the forefront of innovation. A position for an enthusiastic engineer willing to take their career to the next level.
Experience in the transport industry is not required however the mind set to be creative and make suggestions to new solutions is a MUST

The successful candidates will have experience in the following:
- Electrical Design
- PLC control software (Allen Bradley / Siemens S7)
- Producing electrical schematic diagrams, using AutoCAD Electrical, and/or Electrical Designer software
- Producing aspects of design /documentation for electrical machine assembly and wiring
- Deciding on the effective use of resources, e.g. raw materials, equipment and staff
Experience in the transport industry is not required however the mind set to be creative and make suggestions to new solutions is a MUST
The ideal Candidate must be able to:
- work to supplied estimates and budgets, with minimum supervision
- Attend training courses in order to keep up to date with the latest technological developments
- Reviewing results and meeting with site managers to discuss methods of improving the productivity of existing systems, taking into consideration the use of the latest technology
