Front Office/Murex/Derivatives/Interest rates/FX/Credit Risk/Market Risk/Collateral/Business Analyst

We are looking for a strong Front Office Murex Business Analyst to work at client site on their Front Office work-streams to support definition of Front Office process, requirement definition and testing later. The role focus is to drive out and capture the end to end business process and business requirements required, to replace their existing Rates and Credit IT stack with Murex.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating workshops to capture generic business processing
  • Work with key SMEs to identify and document more detailed and specific requirements with justification to use in workshop design
  • Set up working groups to refine and align requirements with programme objectives
  • Supporting overhaul of complex and reactive control model for streamline preventative model
  • Working with the business to translate business requirements to functional specifications
  • Support definition of operations data dictionary and work with the relevant teams to move towards common data dictionary
  • Working as a member of the change team to support and drive the Murex adoption in a controlled but efficient manner
  • Driving the resolution by responsible stakeholders of issues identified during the design phase
  • Ensure all business deliverables including flows and requirements are signed off by the relevant business owners

Required Skills

  • Proven ability as a business analyst with some exposure to Investment banking and specific understanding of Rates.
  • Expert level at business process definition and requirements definition
  • Front Office Trading, Credit risk, Derivatives, Interest Rates
  • Collateral and risk Management
  • Proactive problem and task management.
  • Well-developed communication skills with the ability to communicate requirements in a clear manner which can be easily interpreted by all those within the program team
  • Good understanding of front to back trade processing life cycle including controls framework
  • Full understanding of the Front Office functional model and system landscape
  • Full understanding of the programme business objectives, remit and impact for Middle Office
  • Strong experience working/implementing on Murex and
  • Calypso/Repo-trading is an advantage but not a pre-requisite
  • Experience in applying use cases
  • Broad knowledge of front to bank investment banking processes will be an advantage
