Description

RESPONSIBILTIES
  • Lead the translation of clinical data into appropriate communications targeted for payers, patients, prescribers and other end users by working closely with other GMA Global Medical roles.
  • Effectively engage and collaborate with external medical associations and the broader life science industry in coordination with Regions and Market Companies in order to bring innovative scientific, medical and ethical insight.
  • Design and deliver innovative, informative and effective promotional guidance, New News , as well as coordinate Medical FAQ and Q&As with Global Medical Information Lead, , to support the brand throughout the stages of life cycle management.
  • Engage and extend technical expertise in the management of KOLs to coordinate their contribution to and participation in activities such as advisory boards, medical education, congress, symposia and publications both globally and in co-ordination regions and MCs.
  • Represent the key interface between the needs of the regions, key markets and Brand Team through interactions with all Medical Affairs functions
  • Effectively engage with KOLS and external Healthcare Professionals in the implementation of the medical strategy for designated brands in co-ordination with the region and the marketing company
  • Collaborate effectively with Regional and Marketing company Medical teams.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Medical Quality Assurance to ensure all activities and direction are done in a compliant manner
  • Collaborate effectively with the Medical Excellence teams, especially Medical Information to ensure brand scientific information is available for both medical information queries for the global platform as well as training materials for the Region and Market company MSLs and Medical Affairs Departments


SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Relevant MEDICAL degree (MD, MBBS)
  • Broad understanding of oncology drug development in the pharmaceutical industry
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant disease areas ONCOLOGY (preferred), Lung Cancer
