Description

My client is building out a new platform for Equity Swaps trading that will help reduce counter-party risk and add control and transparency over assets to provide a more efficient way to manage equity swap transactions.

We are looking for an Regulatory SME - business analyst (MiFID, EMIR etc) to work closely with the business and the business support groups (ie, Operations, Compliance, Legal, Front Office, Onboarding, Static Data, IT and ERM) to develop and maintain the following core deliverables:

  • Regional regulatory roadmap/portfolio of projects/PMO.
  • Operating model design. Design the BAU/operating model around how the regulation will be operated once the product is live.
  • Regulatory requirements oversight. Write and facilitate approval of the business requirements to support the implementation of new regulatory requirements
  • Regulatory requirements implementation oversight. Manage the implementation of the business requirements above including technology implementation (from a SME perspective), the writing of desktop procedures and the updating of corporate policies, manuals, governance models, etc.
  • Identifies areas of potential risk and exposure and provides viable solutions to reduce and/or eliminate risk to Enhanced Custody, Securities Finance, Bank and its clients.

This is a global project and will require resources for London and Hong Kong where the following regulatory expert knowledge will be needed
