This temporary role is to provide maternity leave cover for a minimum of 8 months.


As a member of the field marketing team based in London, this role is responsible for planning and executing marketing programmes in support of Dolby's E-Media business throughout EMEA. You will be planning and driving marketing programmes to promote Dolby technologies, including Dolby Audio, Dolby Atmos for mobile, Dolby Voice and Dolby Vision with leading consumer electronics manufacturers, software companies, telcos and streaming services throughout the EMEA region. You will be promoting Dolby products and technologies in conjunction with partner service & product launches as well as other marketing events, working on brand promotions and competitions as well as industry events and other engagements. This exciting and creative role requires excellent interpersonal skills and organisation coupled with a strong level of international marketing experience as you will be working on multiple B2B and B2C campaigns. In addition to working with external customers and partners, you will also be working with stakeholders from different internal Dolby groups including sales and PR. You will be leading the proactive marketing programmes and promotional activities in close cooperation with key partners in support of the objectives of Dolby's EMEA business.

MAIN DUTIES:

  • Planning & executing marketing programmes within timelines, guidelines and on budget
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders to ensure clear alignment plans and programmes
  • Timely reporting and measurement of marketing programmes back to management
  • Communicate clearly and efficiently to all relevant stakeholders

Knowledge:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification
  • Proven track record in B2C & B2B marketing with a minimum of 8 years experience, ideally with an international company or companies who operate within the VOD/OTT, telco or broadcast industry
  • Genuine passion and awaressness of technology with the ability to understand technology concepts and translate these concepts into marketing plans/programmes. Note the role will have a B2B industry marketing angle as well as B2C more consumer marketing angle.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills; with first rate planning, analytical and organisational skills coupled with a solid background in technology
  • Fluent French to business level. Fluent Spanish would also be an advantage
  • A successful track record driving marketing programmes, working with Marketing and PR agencies as well as more technical stakeholders

Abilities:

  • Proactive, creative thinker with initiative and the ability to work to deadlines in a team environment without direct supervision
  • Ability to work with both technology-focused stakeholders as well as consumer lifestyle media

PRACTICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Regular European and occasional international travel
