Ecommerce SEO Specialist

Description

Whitecap SEO, a young and fast-growing search marketing agency for ecommerce clients, is looking for an experienced SEO Specialist. This home-based position requires a strong understanding of ecommerce SEO, including SEO best practices for outreach, on-page optimizations, along with fundamental tasks like keyword research and earning off-page signals.

Responsibilities

Conduct white hat outreach campaigns using SEO tools

Assist SEO Manager in design and execution of SEO strategies

Assist in creation of technical full site audits

Communicate with clients as needed

Stay current on industry trends

Skills & Experience

2-3+ years of SEO experience. Ideally 1+ year at a digital agency

Experience optimizing mid-sized ecommerce websites

Experience working with SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Moz, Google Webmaster Tools, etc.

Familiar with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, etc.

Experience with Google Analytics setups: proper tracking and reporting between Google Adwords, Google

Analytics and clients’ marketing automation platforms

Ability to distill complex problems into easily understood, actionable recommendations
