Highly motivated civil design engineers, with a range of experience levels, are needed to provide their expertise on a long-term project.
Main duties will include:
- Developing and delivering civil engineering solutions from feasibility to detailed engineering designs for transmission networks projects (132kV and above).
- Providing detailed engineering specifications and designs for projects, effective technical support and input throughout the lifecycle of the project.
- Ensuring civil engineering designs and construction practices are in accordance with current legislation, policies and operational requirements.
- Preparing basic and detailed engineering specifications and designs for concrete foundations, steel structures, drainage, and buildings associated with networks transmission projects.
The company are a global leader in Transmission & Distribution, Construction, and Civil Engineering sectors, and have long-term contracts within the UK T&D sector to fulfill.
Minimum Requirements to be considered for the role are as follows:
- Has previous experience working within Energy Transmission & Distribution
- Hands on experience designing concrete foundations, steel structures and drainage.
- Be Familiar with Tedds, Staadpro, MXRoad, Microdrainage or similar.
- Knowledge of CDM Regulations
12 Month Contract. Based in Glasgow. £35 + an hour.
