Contract - London - Content Editor - 2-3 month
An opportunity has arisen with a large publishing company for a content editor/Producer. The role will be apart of an new initiative of the organisation to revamp its online presence and refresh content across the group. They are looking for an experienced individual with experience using CQ5 and AEM CMS systems to coming in and hit the ground running. This position will join a great in house team of IT professionals and office environment in Central London.
Key Responsibilities
Migration of existing content:
-re sizing of existing images or sourcing new images where existing can't be reused and uploading to DAM - adding meta data/tags where appropriate
-setting up new article and category/landing and sub landing pages in CMS - adding meta data where appropriate
-configuring templates
-copying text from existing articles into newly set up article templates - adding meta data/teaser copy where appropriate
-setting up tag list(s) - tag list provided by content lead based on taxonomy; refinement of tag list
-writing ad hoc teaser/lead and intro copy where required
-QA-ing pages built by other producer(s)/content lead
Building new content - as supplied by content agency
-liaising with the agency/with the content lead to maintain smooth content ops
-editing/subbing content/copy as it comes in from agency
-writing articles
-population and management of page tables
Must Have - AEM/CQ5 CMS Experience
