Communications Advisor: World Leading Oil & Gas Co.

World Leading Global Energy Oil Company has an exciting opportunity for a Communications Advisor, to work within a small high energy team, to play an important role in shaping the company's footprint in London for a generation. As such the right person' will be more important than one that ticks every experience/competency box, and will certainly be one who is flexible around turning their hand to a wide range of tasks.

About the Role:

  • Creation of communications content including messages, press releases, briefing materials, information materials, to deliver communication to target audiences (for communicating to staff, or briefings for senior management).
  • Maintain internal websites and other communications tools for promotion of the project and information sharing, ensuring high quality content.
  • Compose, proof read and edit articles.
  • Develop and roll out simple surveys and other tools to gather feedback on communication effectiveness to help further prioritise and improve.
  • Maintain active knowledge of all issues associated with the project and how they impact on affected stakeholders and communication implementation.
  • Plan and deliver events in support of the communications programme such as briefings to staff or milestone celebration events.
  • Develop fit-for-purpose communication pieces and facilitate brainstorming sessions.

About You:

  • Good communications skills with ability to liaise and work well with diverse teams and backgrounds. Educated to a degree level with at least 2 years' experience in related discipline.
  • This role requires a skilled writer and creative thinker, with a strong can-do' ability to deliver multiple tasks to tight deadlines.
