Munitions Project Engineer - With experience in munitions development, design and manufacturing.

A Munitions Project Engineer with experience in munitions development, design and manufacturing is required to work on a six month contract (with the possibility of extension) for our Defence client based in South Wales.

This is a 6 month contract working for a UK leading Defence Company.

Overview of the Munitions Project Engineer contract role

A Project Engineer to be part of a multi-disciplined engineering development team involved in the development, design and manufacture of a number of new munitions products.

Key skills required for the Munitions Project Engineer

  • Minimum of HND/HNC in an engineering discipline
  • 5 years development experience in the engineering industry
  • Proven ability to take ownership, prioritise and deliver product Engineering tasks within development projects to ensure completion within agreed timescales and to required standards.
  • A good understanding of project/risk management and the ability to use associated tools and techniques. (IT literate)

The role is based in South Wales - commutable from Abergavenny, Ebbw Vale, Merthyr Tydfil, Aberdare, Pontypridd, Newport, Caldicot, Usk, Chepstow, Monmouth, Cwmbran, Blackwood, Pontypool and Abertillery with excellent access from Hereford, Ross-on-Wye, Cheltenham, Gloucester,
