Interim Marketing Manager - North Yorkshire - Contract
Role Summary:
My key client based in North Yorkshire is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to work for a large leisure and hospitality organisation. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate their ability to use the full marketing mix, encompassing elements of digital and traditional marketing techniques. Their duties will be largely centred around the creation and delivery of effective marketing plans and strategies, in order to promote the organisation. They will also be central in leading and directing the activities of the Marketing Department, in order to achieve their sales and marketing objectives. The role will require a candidate who can think proactively and creatively, all whilst promoting the values of the organisation. They will also be tasked with the financial management of the marketing budget. They must possess good reasoning abilities in order to identify problems, collect and analyse data, and ultimately tailor the marketing strategy to this information.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Experience in leading a marketing and sales team
- Excellent project and people management ability
- Exceptional communications skills, written and oral
- Must understand and develop business objectives
- Must be able to effectively communicate information to the public
- Must be able to communicate successfully within departments
- Must be able to use and interpret financial information
- Competent computing skills, including E-marketing and social media
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
Qualifications:
- Ideally the CIM Qualification, and a member or fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing
