SCADA Engineer, Telecommunication Design and implementation/Windpower
Our Client, a Major Danish Energy Provider, needs a few SCACDA Telecomm Engineer design/Install/Comm. to help, Ensure that the project is on time and that deliveries and quality are within the scope
Comply with the guidelines and standards in force as well as local requirements
Participate in project team meetings and cross discipline cooperation
Ensure that the technical departments' best practices are implemented
Responsible for QC of the deliverables
its ONshore job with Traveling at least 80 days a year, including some offshore work
Tasks:
Agree scope of work and responsibilities with SCADA manager
Prepare tech. spec. and Employer's Requirements related to the system delivery
Follow up on progress and results from suppliers and ensure QC of deliveries related to the system delivery
Prepare documents and perform QA by signing in 'prepared' or 'accepted' when relevant in the project
Provide all necessary technical analysis related to the system delivery and provide the necessary information for other deliveries
Participate in project meetings and meetings with suppliers within the system delivery
Contribute to evaluation of tenders and support in clarification meetings with system suppliers
Participate in all FAT, SAT, SIT and commissioning of system delivery
Provide all information and coordination required to install the systems (eg technical clarifications, cable Schedule, substation layout and handling instructions)
Report progress, challenges and results from suppliers in a timely manner to SCADA Manager
Technical support to the commissioning and installation team
Provide technical support during investigation of disturbances and power system faults
Ensure all deliveries including education, snaglists and a complete set of documentation prepared for ToC

Technical requirements for SCADA subsupplies
Technical Scoping input to the subsupply contracts
FAT and SAT reports
Layout drawings to stakeholders like Substation
Input to signal and cable list
As build documentation
Recommend technical solutions, quality level and split of supply contracts within system delivery
Recommend project changes (scope, time, economy, quality) to the SCADA manager
Agree interface handling actions with related suppliers within system delivery.
Evaluate and prioritize competing solutions from an overall technical perspective
Qualifications
Five years of specialist experience required, and technical knowledge at B.Sc level
Skills of a good project engineer (technical skilled, integrity, communication, adaptability, teamwork, decision-making and planning), Power Energy related IT tools and procedures
Good communication and team-player skills.
Good business-knowledge
GWO-certificate is needed, but can be provided
