Senior BI Technical Analyst

Description

Our client is a leading supplier of specialty chemicals, offering a broad range of resins, additives and cross linkers for use on wood, metal, plastic and other surfaces.
To sustain its growth, our client has implemented an ambitious program named Phoenix. The roll-out is currently achieved or is in progress across 25 countries and across all business units.
The Program includes a full ERP, BI, PI plus all necessary Core Applications as CRM and interfaces.
The Senior BI Technical Analyst is responsible for the technical design and implementation of "best practice" and flexible solutions according to agreed timelines and budgets in order to support the core management reporting decided by the Organization.

• As a member of the SAP BI Team, the Senior BI Technical Analyst is expected to act as a global expert for some selected End-To-End processes ;
• he/she should be capable of listening carefully to Business Requirements,
• analyzing the demands formulated by the Process Leads,
• propose technical options and implement the selected solution.
• He / She has been exposed to SAP Best Practices and is able to translate complex issues into simple concepts.

The SAP BI Team acts as a small but strong team, in a very positive and dynamic context. The Phoenix project offers a very international and pleasant place to work, with extensive collaboration across all Business departments and across the world.

• The ideal candidate(s) should be a team player with at least 10 year experience in SAP BI implementation in an international context.
• He / She has a sound understanding and experience of Industry Best Practices in the implementation of SAP-BI area, and has been exposed to Data
• Modeling/loading/monitoring, Business Explorer (workbooks and queries) and Process chain maintenance/development.
• Strong technical background and thorough ABAP knowledge.
• The position is global, so fluent US-English is mandatory, other languages are a plus.
• Team player is a mandatory skill, ability to communicate in both "business language" and "technical language" is mandatory as well.
• Travelling up to 10%.
• Exposure to BPC is a plus.
