Physical Integration Engineer for UK Lightning Integration Team -

The UK Lightning Integration team work directly with the UK MOD to help them prepare for the entry into service of the new F-35 (Joint Strike Fighter) fighter aircraft. The main focus of the work is the identification and investigation of problems which may affect the operation of this new 5th generation fighter by the Royal Air Force and the Royal Navy.

Main Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Physical Integration Engineer will be responsible for the Physical Design Description (PDD) for RAF Marham and managing the alignment with MAI F35 design and build of the Freedom of Action (FoA) Facilities.
This will involve extensive work at Frimley and Bristol, nominally Monday-Friday co-located with the MAI F35 UK Sustainment team.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance of the PDD against the defined Engineering Scope & Budget
Developing a roadmap for the future development of the PDD.
Alignment of PDD with MII F35 activities.
