I recruit for contract mechanical engineers in the North of England.A long term contract opportunity for a Lead Mechanical Engineer has arisen with a key client in Sheffield who manufacture Nuclear mechanical handling equipment.
The company: A well established local firm who are experiencing continuous growth and are building an excellent reputation in the Nuclear industry. In fact they have just won a new £3.2M project!
The role: To oversea the design of Nuclear mechanical equipment for various projects. This will involve understanding the design governance, writing technical documentation and safety cases.There will also be client visits and interaction.
The candidate: Will be well versed in the technical side of Nuclear design and able put together engineering documentation such as substantiation reports.
Ideally applicants will hold SC clearance but must be at least eligible.
The offer: The contract on offer will be long term and a competitive rate of around £35-40 per hour.
The client are flexible to allow a 40 hour week to be done in 4 working days and are situated in a comfortable modern office next to their manufacturing facility.
